Tatiana Nogueira, children’s author, was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She used to live in London where she studied creative writing at Birkbeck University of London. Since she finished the course, she never stopped writing stories for children. Her stories have important lessons, values and attitudes that help children in their daily lives.
In her first book for children, Tatiana Nogueira brings us a charming story that’s shows the importance of believing that our dreams can come true when we strive with perseverance.

When is your birthday?
My birthday in on July 7th.
I love number 7! It’s my favourite number.

How do you like to celebrate your birthday?
I’d like to celebrate my birthday with my family and friends.
I also buy me a present on my birthday. Every time people look at me surprised when I say the present is for me.

What’s your favourite colour?
I have two favourite colours. They’re red and purple.

Do you have a favourite food?
My favourite food is raw organic plant – based food.

What are your hobbies?
I love reading, writing, travelling, dancing, being in the nature such as walking in the woods, swimming in the lakes, rivers and beaches.

What’s the worst thing that’s ever happened to you?
When I lost my mother, even thought I knew she was fine on her way to her next mission in this universe.

What’s the best thing that’s ever happened to you?
When I discovered I was pregnant. When I was 37 I heard the news I could not have babies. Two years later I had Leonardo. So, that was the best thing that’s ever happened to me.

If you could travel to any place in the world, where would it be?
I’d love to visit Hawaii.

What’s your favourite children’s author?
Roald Dahl

What’s your favourite place?
My house.

How was your childhood?
Very challenging. That’s why I love reading. I escaped into books where anything was magic and possible. Books played a very important role in my childhood.
I can also say I honestly feel gratitude for my hard life because I recognise that they helped me to become a strong person.

What would you say to all children in the world.
You’re special. Your lives are more precious than all the treasures in the universe.

Is that you want to say them through your stories?
Absolutely! I also want them to have fun and feel the magic world of the imagination.
